Very recently, I discovered a Social Media Platform called Fiverr. Fiverr is the place for people to share things they’re willing to do for $5. The buyer pays 5$ for a particular job trough PayPal and the money is released to the seller when the seller completes his work (according to the seller).  A service offered by a seller is called a Gig and buyers can rate a sellers’ gig after the job is completed. Most of the offers are made by artists, musicians, marketers, SEO professionals, etc. Here are some examples of what you can have for 5$:

• Professionally review your LinkedIn profile and make recommandations
• Optimize your Online Dating Profile
• Draw any character you imagine
• Make an emotional rant
• Write 10 comments on your blog
• Give you instant relief from sadness or stress
• Create a pro 20 second audio voice over for Radio, TV, or Internet
• Dance an entire song of your choice in a hot dog costume

I was very skeptical when I found this website because for 5$, we can usually buy a coffee but not a logo. Someone in my entourage convinced me that there might are some professionals who want to make some extra money and they might be ready to do some good work for 5$. Also, I read a blog from one seller that says he was using Fiverr to generate leads for his business. I think it’s brilliant and it shows that some sellers might offer some very high quality service.  Sellers have their ratings from their customers so it’s easy to choose who you should hire for 5$. By the way, it’s a guaranteed 3.92$ for sellers (after the 1$ Fiverr fee and 0.08$ Paypal fee). Belive it or not: Some people really make money out of it!

I need a logo: I’m jumping in!
In my last post, I talked about summer strategies and I’ve decided to apply my own advice to Blooming Marketing. I want a logo for my blog but I am not ready to pay 600-800$ for it. I decided to hire 2 sellers on Fiverr, which is only a 10$ commitment, to design a logo for Blooming Marketing. I also want more pictures and since I can’t have a photographer at home for 5$, I decided to hire 2 sellers to draw a Manga style cartoon based on my picture. I will receive my logos and my cartoons later this week. I can’t wait to share my logos and cartoons with my readers. Stay tuned to see it in a couple of days.
